The third day of the Global Media Forum, which is being held in the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, Shusha, began with the continuation of the session " Investment and consumption trends in media," Report informs.
Consumption trends in new media and media literacy (methods of combating disinformation and fake news) were discussed under the moderation of the director of the "Communications and Digital Media" program of the ADA University Shafag Mehraliyeva.
Participants exchanged views on changing trends in the production and consumption of media products, issues of investing in media, the role of media literacy in the development of professional media, the creation of a value chain in new media and the development of business models.
The Forum, organized by the Media Development Agency of Azerbaijan, is attended by representatives of local and foreign media, as well as experts.
About 150 foreign guests from 49 countries, including representatives of state news agencies of 34 countries, 12 international organizations and media structures, take part in the Shusha Global Media Forum. Besides, 60 heads and employees of local media outlets are among the participants.
