Return to all liberated areas to start by end of 2024

The return to all liberated regions will start by the end of the year, the Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs, Fuad Huseynov, said in an interview with the Xalq Qazeti newspaper, Report informs.

According to him, 20,000 people are planned to be relocated to the liberated territories by the end of the year:

“The geographical area of the return will cover 27 settlements, including 20 villages and settlements, seven cities. The resettlement process will be launched in Shusha, Khojaly, Jabrayil, Kalbajar and Zangilan soon. By the end of the year, the relocation will start in all the liberated territories.”
