President Ilham Aliyev approves cost of living for 2024

President Ilham Aliyev has signed into law the bill "On the cost of living in Azerbaijan for 2024," Report informs.

According to the document, the cost of living has been set for the main socio-demographic groups of the population.

The cost of living for 2024 in Azerbaijan is set at 270 manats ($158), at 287 manats ($168) for the able-bodied population, at 222 manats ($130) for pensioners, and at 235 manats ($138) for children.

The law comes into force on January 1, 2024.
