President: "Building mosque in Jojuq Marjanli similar to one in Shusha was symbolic"

“When I was in Jojug Marjanli, I said that today we have built a mosque similar to the one in Shusha - the Govharagha Mosque, which is symbolic. 'After the liberation of Shusha, we will restore all our mosques destroyed by Armenians.' Three years later, those words found their place in life,” Azerbaijani President, victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev said at a meeting with the public representatives of Jabrayil district, Report informs.

The head of state said that at that time, a settlement consisting of 150 houses was built in Jojug Marjanli, and a school and a medical center were established.

“A mosque similar to the Shusha mosque was built, and job opportunities were created," President Aliyev noted.
