President approves benefits for orphans after graduation

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has approved amendments to the law "On Social Protection of Children Who Have Lost Their Parents and Are Without Parental Care," which establish the amount of one-time educational assistance for this group of children.
According to the new document, cited by Report, orphans and children left without parental care will receive a one-time payment of 2,600 manats after completing general, vocational, secondary-specialized, or higher education institutions.
The payment will be made by the respective educational institution as a one-time grant in the specified amount.
The amendments were adopted in the final reading during the Milli Majlis session on March 7.
