Over 4,500 hectares of Azerbaijani lands cleared of mines in March

The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) has published monthly information on humanitarian mine clearance operations carried out in the liberated territories, Report informs.

According to ANAMA, 105 anti-tank mines, 331 anti-personnel mines, and 9,755 pieces of unexploded ordnance (UXO) were detected and neutralized in the liberated territories during March.

Some 4,556 hectares of land were also cleared of mines.

Mine clearance operations were carried out by ANAMA, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), the State Border Service (SBS), and four private companies.
