In the first half of this year, 1,709 people arrived in Azerbaijan for permanent residence, Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.
In January-June 2025, the relevant bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Migration Service registered 1,709 people who arrived in Azerbaijan for permanent residence and 1,092 people who left Azerbaijan.
The positive migration balance in the country amounted to 617 people.
