Nearly 7,000 foreigners applied for residence permits in Azerbaijan in April

In April, the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan received 45,030 applications in its areas of activity, Report informs, citing the agency.

According to the state service, 24,067 of the applications were related to the registration of foreigners and stateless persons at their place of stay in Azerbaijan.

In addition, 6,825 of the applications were related to obtaining and extending residence permits in Azerbaijan, 1,572 were related to determining Azerbaijani citizenship, and 1,270 were related to obtaining and extending work permits for foreigners and stateless persons to engage in paid labor activities in the territory of Azerbaijan.

The number of applications related to citizenship issues was 233.
