Mingachevir Constituency sees lowest voter turnout in Azerbaijan's parliamentary elections

The Constituency No. 54 in Mingachevir has recorded the lowest voter turnout in Azerbaijan's snap parliamentary elections as of 17:00 (GMT+4), according to Farid Orujov, the head of the Information Center of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Secretariat, Report informs.

Orujov revealed during a press conference at the CEC's Election Information Center that the voter turnout in this constituency stood at 16.14% (8,106 people).

A total of 990 candidates are competing for 125 parliamentary seats in this election.

Azerbaijan has an electorate of 6,421,960 voters. Voting was conducted at 6,478 polling stations across 125 constituencies, with 54 of them located in liberated territories.

Polling stations opened at 08:00 (GMT+4) and will remained open until 19:00.
