Leyla Seyidzada: Azad Mirzajanzada Development Program to implement next project in September

The Azad Mirzajanzada Development Program was a pilot project in 2023, but today it is already operating as a large and full-fledged project, the program director, Leyla Seyidzada, said during her opening speech at the Azad Mirzajanzada Development Program Orientation Day II event, Report informs.

According to Leyla Seyidzada, the second wave of the program is currently being implemented:

“While 34 people were selected as participants in the first wave, this number is close to 90 in the second wave.”

The director also said that the program is developing over time, and the number of waves held during the year is increasing:

“This year, we will also implement another wave, probably in September.”

The Azad Mirzajanzada Development Program is designed for Azerbaijani citizens aged 18-35 who have a desire to contribute to the development of society and have real ideas in this direction. Within the framework of the program, the critical and creative thinking skills, leadership qualities, as well as the ability to work in a changing and multidisciplinary environment, are of particular importance.

Six winners were identified in the first phase of the program, which ends in 2024. Each of them was provided with both financial and expert support to implement their initiatives.
