Kazakhstan assumes Almaty Process chairmanship from Azerbaijan

The chairmanship of the Almaty Process has passed from Azerbaijan to Kazakhstan.
As Report informs, the decision was announced today at the 3rd Ministerial Conference of the Almaty Process in Baku.
The chairmanship of the Almaty Process, which began its operations in 2013, rotates among the participating countries every two years.
In 2023-2024, Azerbaijan held the chairmanship. In previous years, the Almaty Process was chaired by Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Türkiye.
