Former IDPs visit Khankandi to review reconstruction progress

A group of former internally displaced persons (IDPs) visited the city of Khankandi as part of an informational tour organized by Azerbaijan’s State Committee for Refugees and IDPs.

According to Report, the participants are individuals engaged in income-generating activities under the First State Program of the Great Return.

During the tour, the group received detailed information about ongoing reconstruction efforts and local employment opportunities. They toured various sites in the city, including the Karabakh textile factory, where they were briefed on the company’s operations, working conditions, and workforce management.

The delegation also visited Karabakh University, where they were introduced to the newly developed infrastructure, current learning conditions, and future plans for the institution.
