Elections proceed transparently, head of polling station says

At polling station No. 35 of the Nasimi-Sabail electoral district No. 23, municipal elections are being conducted transparently.

This was reported to Report by the chairman of the polling station, Gulnara Mustafayeva.

Head of the polling station Gulnara Mustafayeva told Report that there are 1,055 people on the voter list for the polling station.

Mustafayeva added that local observers are monitoring the voting process.

Municipal elections are being held in 118 electoral districts, where 5,846 polling stations are open. The elections involve 16,092 candidates competing for 8,071 seats in 685 municipalities. According to the CEC, the number of voters in the country reaches 5,961,987 people.

Voting will end at 19:00.
