Community chairman: List of 237 villages in Western Azerbaijan has been compiled

A list of 237 villages in Western Azerbaijan has been compiled, chairman of the Board of the West Azerbaijan community, MP Aziz Alakbarli said during public hearings in parliament on the topic "Overcoming mountains: peaceful and legal return to West Azerbaijan," according to Report.

"Our goal is to convey to the international community the whole truth about Western Azerbaijan," he said.

"We, as a community of Western Azerbaijan, have addressed a letter to the President of the Council of the European Union Charles Michel and the current EU mission in Armenia. So far, a list of 237 villages in Western Azerbaijan has been compiled, the documents of about 20,000 families have been collected," Alakbarli said.
