Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission will ensure that all citizens who returned to the liberated territories before voting day in the presidential elections are included in the electoral lists at their place of residence, Chairman of the Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov told journalists, Report informs.
He noted that according to the law, a voter is registered at the place of residence within six months: “Today there are more than 23,000 voters in the liberated areas. Voters who moved to the liberated territories will be issued registration cards so that they can vote at a new address.”
