Baku Initiative Group’s report to cover more regions in 2025

Next year, the number of colonized regions in the report of the Baku Initiative Group (BIG) will increase, BIG Executive Director Abbas Abbasov said during his speech at the organization's report presentation dedicated to the December 14 decolonization day, Report informs.

According to Abbasov, the organization, as a think tank, has prepared and presented more than 7 reports:

"This year, 17 international conferences were held, and some of them took place at UN headquarters in New York and Geneva. Also, a report was requested from the UN Human Rights Committee about France's colonization activities in Martinique and New Caledonia. This was the first demand made to the French government in the last five years. BIG has signed five memorandums and maintains close cooperation with NGOs and organizations across five regions in this regard."
