Azerbaijan's population statistics revealed

As of August 1, 2025, Azerbaijan's population totaled 10,245,543 people, an increase of 20,654 people (0.2%) compared to the beginning of the year.

According to Report, citing the State Statistics Committee, 54.4% of the population lives in urban areas, while 45.6% resides in rural areas.

Men make up 49.8% of the population, and women account for 50.2%.
