Azerbaijan registers 881 candidates for snap parliamentary elections

The candidacy of 881 people for the snap parliamentary elections has been registered in Azerbaijan, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov told a meeting held at CEC Saturday, Report informs.

Panahov noted that a total of 1,508 people had applied for candidacy.

"Some 590 people were nominated from 22 political parties. Nominations of 1,462 people have been approved," he said.
