Azerbaijan decides on deportation of foreign nationals from 67 countries in 2025

Azerbaijan"s State Migration Service (SMS) ordered the administrative deportation of foreign nationals from 67 countries in 2025.

According to Report, the decisions were taken primarily due to violations of the rules governing stay and residence in the country.

The agency emphasized that deportation decisions are made after considering a range of factors, including an individual's legal ties to Azerbaijan, the nature of the offense committed, personal details of the violator, the degree of culpability, financial status, as well as mitigating or aggravating circumstances related to administrative liability.
