Azerbaijan and Syria mull security cooperation

Syrian Interior Minister Anas Khattab has met with Azerbaijan’s Chargé d’Affaires in Damascus, Elnur Shahhuseynov, Report informs, citing the Syrian Interior Ministry’s press service.

During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation, including in the areas of security and the functioning of interior agencies.

Special attention was given to the exchange of experience, which both parties agreed would contribute to strengthening stability and promoting the shared interests of both countries.
