Armenia refuses to provide information on burial sites

Armenia, under various pretexts, refuses to cooperate with Azerbaijan in clarifying the fate of missing persons and providing information about mass graves.

It was said during the presentation of an assessment report by the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP) "Accounting for the Missing Persons in the Republic of Azerbaijan," Report informs.

It was stated that Armenia violated international law during the conflict:

"Civilians were taken hostage, subjected to inhuman treatment and torture, deprived of liberty without trial and executed."

At the same time, it was emphasized that people were buried en masse without observing burial customs, as well as graves were hidden and deliberately destroyed:

"Given the fact that such grave crimes were committed, the number of such graves is expected to increase in the future."
