ANAMA unveils number of landmines found in liberated territories last week

The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) issued weekly update about operations carried out by institutions (ANAMA, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and the State Border Service) involved in demining activities in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan (17.06.2024 through 23.06.2024), Report informs.
As many as 108 anti-tank mines, 79 anti-personnel mines, and 204 unexploded ordnance were detected and neutralized.
Also, 946.3 hectares of land were cleared of mines.
