After Second Karabakh War, 384 people became victims of mines in Azerbaijan

As many as 384 people have fallen victim to mines since the Second Karabakh War in Azerbaijan, Deputy Chief of the State Security Service, Lieutenant General Sharafat Hasanov said at the presentation of the "Assessment Report on the Search for Missing Persons in the Republic of Azerbaijan" of the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP), Report informs.
He noted that 231 incidents involving civilians that were blown up by mines have been recorded since the end of military operations (since November 2020).
"As a result of these incidents, 70 people were killed and 314 were injured," he added.
