806 applied for candidacy in Azerbaijan's upcoming parliamentary elections

As many as 806 people have applied for candidacy in the snap parliamentary elections to be held on September 1, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov said at today's CEC meeting, Report informs.
Panahov noted that 585 authorized representatives of the parties have already registered. The nomination of 532 people for candidacy has been approved.
“Signature sheets have been given to 451 people. Thirty-one people returned the signature sheets. The candidacies of four people have been registered.”
