Azerbaijani diaspora in Latvia collecting aid for Turkiye

The Azerbaijani diaspora in Latvia collects humanitarian aid for victims of the devastating earthquake in Turkiye, Chairman of the youth center “Azeri” Amil Salimov told Report.
He noted that the Azerbaijani diaspora collects both financial assistance and clothing needed for the victims of the earthquake. At the same time, not only Azerbaijanis, but also other residents of Latvia take part in collecting the aid, he added.
“The collection of clothes, food, medicines, as well as their sorting before sending, is taking place at Ventspils 50,” Salimov said, adding that the diaspora will send the goods together with the Latvian charity Tavi Draugi.
