Association of Friends of Azerbaijan in France condemns attack on embassy in Iran

The Association of Friends of Azerbaijan in France condemned the terrorist attack against the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran, Report informs.

A statement released on behalf of the President of the Association of Friends of Azerbaijan Jerome Lambert said that they received the news of the terrible attack on the Azerbaijani Embassy in Tehran this morning with horror and great sadness.

"The gunman coldly shot the guard in the head, killing one person and injuring two others. We must remember the heroism and courage of one of the employees who managed to bring the attacker under control and put an end to the carnage. All members of the Association of Friends of Azerbaijan offer their deepest condolences to the family of the deceased embassy employee, as well as to all the people of Azerbaijan, whom we treat with special sensitivity in this difficult period," the statement reads.
