New book sheds light on Azerbaijani cultural traces in modern-day Armenia

Volume III of the book "Return: Our Material-Cultural Heritage in Western Azerbaijan" has been unveiled, according to Report. The presentation took place during the scientific-practical conference titled "Following the Traces of Deported Heritage."

A video showcasing Western Azerbaijan was also featured at the event.

This book, created with the support of the Center for Social Research, is the outcome of thorough scientific research into the destroyed, renamed, and appropriated monuments in the Western Azerbaijan region, which is now part of Armenia. It highlights the Azerbaijani cultural traces in the region.

The book documents 144 monuments, many of which are little known, particularly those remaining after the mass deportation of Azerbaijanis between 1987 and 1991. The work provides comprehensive details on each monument, including its history, classification, significance, current condition, and brief descriptions of its dimensions, all presented in organized tables.
