TURKSOY secretary-general: Azerbaijan’s Shusha has great symbolic meaning

One of the important items on the agenda of the March 31 meeting is the choice of the capital of the Turkic world for the next year, and Shusha can become it, Secretary-General of TURKSOY Dusen Kaseinov said at the opening of an extraordinary meeting of the organization’s Permanent Council, according to Report’s correspondent sent to Bursa.

The secretary-general stressed that TURKSOY is called upon to promote the common cultural values ​​of the Turkic countries.

“One of the important items on the agenda will be choosing the capital of the Turkic world for the next year. Azerbaijani Minister of Culture Anar Karimov will promote the candidacy of Shusha city, which has great symbolic significance. I hope that everyone will support this initiative,” Kaseinov said.
