Turkish minister: "Cultural monuments in liberated territories were destroyed"

"Cultural monuments in the liberated lands were destroyed, revenge was taken on the culture, and cultural heritage was tried to be erased. However, history cannot be changed by damaging historical monuments. This is not so easy," Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Mehmet Nuri Ersoy said at "The Great Return: Revival of Culture," conference, Report informs.

According to him, the destroyed monuments must be restored: "Monuments of other nations are not destroyed in Turkish culture, on the contrary, they are restored. This has been a message for centuries. However, we saw the destruction in the liberated lands of Karabakh."
