Participants of Azerbaijan-Pakistan friendship exhibition awarded in Baku

The Azerbaijan University of Languages ​​(AUL) hosted an awards ceremony for the participants of the exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, Report informs.

The event was attended by Pakistani Ambassador to Azerbaijan Bilal Hayee, MP Ganira Pashayeva and Rector of the Azerbaijan University of Languages ​​Kamal Abdulla.

The ambassador of Pakistan noted that today’s ceremony is the first in a series of events dedicated to the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan and thanked everyone who took part in the exhibition.

According to MP Ganira Pashayeva, Pakistan is not just a friendly, but a brotherly country for Azerbaijan: “Azerbaijan pays special attention to the development of relations with Pakistan. Pakistan is the second country after Turkey that has always supported Azerbaijan during the Karabakh conflict on all international platforms.”

She also noted that a center of the Azerbaijani language and literature will soon be opened in one of the Pakistani universities.

Then the ceremony of awarding the authors of the works presented at the exhibition took place.
