Minister: Joint work needed to restore book fund in Karabakh

It is necessary to do joint work to restore the book fund in Karabakh, Azerbaijani Minister of Culture Adil Karimli said at the opening of the 9th Baku International Book Exhibition, according to Report.

The minister spoke about the libraries destroyed by the Armenians and the books destroyed during the occupation: "During the 30-year period of occupation, 927 libraries were completely destroyed and the book fund, numbering about 5,000 books, was destroyed. It is necessary to do joint work to restore the book fund and libraries in Karabakh."
