International Animation Festival opens in Baku

ANIMAFILM International Animation Festival has kicked off at the Nizami Cinema Center in Baku, Report informs.
Deputy Minister of Culture, Saadat Yusifova, who attended the ceremony, said that 39 films from 13 countries will be screened in the festival.
“The theme of the festival will be “Women’s Rights”. The revenue obtained from ticket sales will be donated to young, local women directors,” the deputy minister said.
The festival consists of competition, non-competition, and professional programs.
