Heydar Aliyev Center hosts opening of exhibition “Uzun Hasan - Ruler of the Aggoyunlu State”

The exhibition “Uzun Hasan - Ruler of the Aggoyunlu State” opened at the Heydar Aliyev Center on November 1, Report informs.

This is the first exhibition dedicated to the outstanding statesman and commander Uzun Hasan.

The exhibition gives visitors the opportunity to take an excursion into the history of Azerbaijan, in particular the Aggoyunlu state, and understand its special place in the history of Azerbaijani statehood.

This year marks the 600th anniversary of the birth of Uzun Hasan (1423 – 1478), the founder of the Aggoyunlu state.

The exhibition will run until January 17, 2024.
