EU delegation to Azerbaijan organizes exhibition entitled "European Bridges"

The European Union (EU) delegation to Azerbaijan has held an exhibition entitled "European Bridges" as part of the FantazEU festival, Report informs.

The opening ceremony was attended by Peter Michalko, Head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan, as well as EU ambassadors.

"The festival aims to demonstrate the strong cultural ties between the European Union and Azerbaijan, as well as the cultural diversity of EU countries. By developing cooperation in education and culture, we believe that people-to-people contacts can be strengthened. Bridges serve to unite people, not to separate them. The exhibition can also help choose places to visit after the stabilization of the pandemic situation in the world and the opening of tourism opportunities," Michalko said.

The exhibition features photos of bridges in European countries, as well as the Khudafarin bridge, which symbolizes the cultural heritage of Azerbaijan.
