Entry to Icherisheher to be restricted

In connection with the National Carpet Festival to be held in Icherisheher on May 4-5, the entrance to the Paired Fortress Gates (Gosha Gala Gapysy) of Icherisheher and the movement of vehicles in the area will be temporarily restricted, Report informs, referring to the Icherisheher State Historical-Architectural Reserve Administration.

The first National Carpet Festival of Azerbaijan is organized by the Icherisheher State Historical-Architectural Reserve Administration and the Azerkhalcha OJSC, with the support of the Ministry of Economy, and Export, and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO).

During the two-day festival, a number of events dedicated to the art of carpet weaving will be held in Icherisheher.
