Concert 'Rhythms of Guadeloupe and Azerbaijan' held at Green Theater

A concert program titled "Rhythms and Dances of Guadeloupe and Azerbaijan" was held at Baku's Green Theater.

According to Report, the event was organized by the Baku Initiative Group (BIG).

The head of the Baku Initiative Group, Abbas Abbasov, stated that the organization has arranged nearly 30 concerts abroad:

"Today, for the first time, we are holding this concert in beautiful Baku, at the Green Theater. The Baku Initiative Group continues the fight against colonialism not only through political efforts but also through scientific and cultural initiatives," Abbasov noted.

Jean-Jacob Bisep, National Coordinator of the Guadeloupe division of FID, expressed gratitude to the Baku Initiative Group for creating an opportunity to showcase Guadeloupe's culture in Azerbaijan.

The evening featured rich performances by the rhythm groups "Lakou Veranda" from Guadeloupe and "Natiq" from Azerbaijan. A dance composition by the "Mirvari" dance ensemble added special color to the night.

The joint cultural program of the two countries was met with great enthusiasm by the audience.
