On April 11, Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov held a meeting with Qatari Minister of Culture Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Thani, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers.
During the discussion, both parties expressed satisfaction with the progress of Azerbaijani-Qatari relations across various fields, with particular emphasis on the high level of relations in the cultural sphere.
They highlighted the significance of the ongoing Qatari Culture Days, which opened in Baku yesterday, providing Baku residents and visitors an excellent opportunity to explore the rich cultural heritage and traditions of Qatar.
Additionally, they recalled the successful Azerbaijan Culture Days held in Doha in 2024, underscoring the role of such events in fostering closer ties and enhancing friendly relations between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Qatar.
The meeting also explored prospects for bilateral cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, humanitarian efforts, culture, tourism, and other sectors of mutual interest.
