Azerbaijani fine arts explored during culture days in Bishkek

A lecture titled "Heritage Pearls: Medieval Azerbaijani Painting" was held at the Kyrgyz National Museum of Art as part of Azerbaijani Culture Days, Report informs.

The session was led by Sevil Karimova, Vice-Rector of Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, PhD in Art Studies, and Associate Professor.

The audience included students, cultural professionals, and researchers.

The lecture provided an insightful journey through the evolution of Azerbaijani fine arts, covering key milestones such as the prehistoric rock carvings of Gobustan and Gemigaya, the golden age of medieval miniature art, and the emergence of regional art schools.
