Azerbaijani artists showcase Art for a Greener Future in Paris

The French capital, Paris, witnessed the opening ceremony of an exhibition featuring works by Azerbaijani artists titled "Art for a Greener Future."

According to Report's European bureau, the event, organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in France, took place as part of the Green World Solidarity Year initiative.

Ambassador of Azerbaijan to France, Leyla Abdullayeva, Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to UNESCO, Elman Abdullayev, French art figures, and other distinguished guests attended the ceremony. In her speech, Ambassador Abdullayeva emphasized Azerbaijan's contribution as a reliable and responsible member of the international community in combating the consequences of climate change. She also reminded the audience that 2024 has been declared the Green World Solidarity Year in Azerbaijan.

The exhibition showcased the works of Sakit Mammadov, a People's Artist of Azerbaijan, alongside creations by Khanlar Asadullayev, Narmin Nasibova, Agshin Kazimov, Mahir Gafarov, Nihad Aghazada, Chinara Bakhshiyeva-Jafarova, Aynur Mammadova, and young talents Nazila Farzullayeva and Maryam Abdulla.
