Culture Minister Anar Karimov has lashed out at the activities of a number of museums.
Report informs that at a press conference on the topic "Ministry of Culture: Goals and Results of 2021", he noted that the museum sphere is developing rapidly, museums are increasingly turning from storage sites into information centers.
"The museums should reflect the peculiar features of each district. Some museums consider themselves only keepers of exhibits," the minister said.
According to the minister, the activities of theaters in the regions also leave much to be desired.
"The main burden falls on the capital's theaters. We would also like the development of theaters in the regions. This is a very important issue," the minister stressed.
