Action plan under development regarding Shusha's election as capital of Turkic world

An action plan is being prepared regarding the election of Shusha as the capital of the Turkic world, Azerbaijani Minister of Culture Anar Karimov said, Report informs.

"This is a significant moment for us; I congratulate everyone on this important day! Shusha has been elected the capital of the Turkic world for 2023. This city has experienced a lot during the years of occupation, the Armenians wanted to erase the trace of history, but failed," the minister said.

"We want to show the city's beauty on a world level by holding concerts and exhibitions. We want to hold a literature festival, we have a lot of plans. And their goal is to show the city of Shusha - the heart of Azerbaijan," added Anar Karimov.

The city of Shusha has been elected the capital of the Turkic world for 2023. The decision was made at an extraordinary meeting of the Permanent Council of TURKSOY, held today in the Turkish city of Bursa.
