UK Prime Minister invited to COP29

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has invited the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer, to the COP29 to be held in Baku in November.

According to Report, the original copy of Ilham Aliyev's letter of invitation addressed to Keir Starmer was presented by COP29 President-designate Mukhtar Babayev to the UK's Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero Ed Miliband.

Mukhtar Babayev and Ed Miliband were attending the opening of the new administrative building of the Azerbaijani Embassy in the UK. The event was dedicated to COP29.
