Türkiye develops climate change adaptation strategy until 2031

Türkiye has prepared "Strategy and Action Plan for Climate Change Adaptation for 2024-2030," Report informs.

This was announced during the presentation of the prepared document in the Blue Zone of the COP29 climate conference in Baku.

The document was prepared with the aim of creating a more sustainable and long-term green Türkiye in economic, social, and environmental terms.

It covers 11 risk analysis-based sectors and several important issues.

Within the Action Plan, 40 strategic goals and 129 measures have been identified in cooperation with relevant institutions and organizations.

Türkiye's Minister of Environment, Urban Planning and Climate Change, Murat Kurum, emphasized that his country will continue to comprehensively fulfill its responsibilities to protect future generations and peace.
