Tanzila Narbaeva: Support for joint research on climate change needed

Support for joint research on climate change is needed, Chairwoman of the Senate of the Parliament of Uzbekistan, Tanzila Narbaeva, said at the Parliamentary meeting in the Green Zone of COP29, Report informs.

She emphasized that finance is a crucial issue in addressing climate problems: "Uzbekistan has invested $31 million to support those affected by climate change and continues to support global initiatives. Strengthening climate resilience is one of the main goals."
