Transparency and reporting analysis make it possible to understand where we are moving in the right direction and where we need to step up our efforts, State Department's Principal Deputy Special Envoy for Climate Sue Biniaz said at a panel within the High-Level Dialogue: Advancing Climate Transparency through Universal Participation in the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF) in Baku, Report informs.
She noted that biennial transparency reports are a fundamental component of preparation for the ETF.
If all parties fulfill their obligations and submit reports, our collective efforts to combat the consequences of climate change will become visible and understandable to the public, she said.
