Azerbaijan and Indonesia are actively discussing issues related to climate change, Indonesia's Special Presidential Envoy for Energy and Environment, Hashim Djojohadikusumo, told Report on the sidelines of the COP29 conference in Baku.
Hashim Djojohadikusumo noted that negotiations with Azerbaijan, as well as with all interested parties from different countries and multilateral organizations, are progressing successfully.
Speaking about Indonesia's initiative at COP29, the Special Envoy noted that the country will present a forest restoration program. "One of the programs I mentioned earlier is that our government is going to launch a large-scale forest restoration program in the coming years. This will cover no less than 12 million hectares of territory," he said.
