Speaker of Zimbabwe’s National Assembly arrives in Azerbaijan

Jacob Mudenda, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Zimbabwe, arrived in Azerbaijan on Friday to participate in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, Report informs.

At Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the Speaker of Zimbabwe was welcomed by Azerbaijani MPs Mahir Suleymanli, Shahin Ismayilov, along with other officials.

On November 16-17, Baku will host a Parliamentary Meeting as part of COP29. Co-organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the event will welcome 92 delegations from 66 countries and international organizations.
