Space agency leaders adopt Baku declaration during summit

The Baku Declaration has been adopted at the Space Agency Leaders Summit within COP29, Samaddin Asadov, Chairman of the Board of the Space Agency of Azerbaijan (Azercosmos) told journalists.
According to Report, Asadov noted that the declaration provides for joining efforts in delivering aid to disaster areas in various parts of the world and taking urgent joint measures to eliminate their consequences.
Additionally, within the framework of the declaration, space agencies will deepen cooperation with environmental and climate change organizations and civil societies, study their needs, and search for better ways to transmit information received from satellites.
