Solar photovoltaic system to be installed at Baku Port

A solar photovoltaic system will be installed at Baku Port. The Baku International Sea Trade Port CJSC and Malaysian company Citiqlobal plan to sign a contract for the installation of a 5.4 MW solar-powered photovoltaic system, CEO of the CJSC Taleh Ziyadov said at the "COP29 Business, Investment and Philanthropy Climate Platform."
Report informs that, according to him, the project aims to reduce carbon emissions, improve energy efficiency, and utilize renewable sources. Upon completion of the system installation, the port will receive "green" port status.
