Azerbaijan's Azerenerji OJSC and the US-based GE Vernova company signed a document within the framework of the COP29 conference held in Baku, Report informs, citing Azerenerji.
The document was inked by Baba Rzayev, head of Azerenerji, and Joseph Anis, President and CEO of Middle East, North Africa & South Asia (MENASA) for Gas Power of GE Vernova in the green zone.
The focal point of the event was the project led by GE Vernova to convert one of the gas turbines at the South Power Plant in Shirvan, operated by AzerEnerji, to run on 100% hydrogen fuel.
